Powder snow, fresh mountain air and cosy mountain chalets: the Lötschental is a fine little ski paradise. In one of the most snow-sure Alpine valleys in Switzerland, the sunny Lauchernalp ski area offers 55 kilometres of perfectly groomed pistes up to 3,111 metres above sea level. The wide range of difficulty levels from blue to black pistes (to the piste map >) makes the ski area ideal for families. The Cool School snow sports school offers courses at different levels and - for the very young guests - childcare.

Lauchernalp is very popular among ski mountaineers! For freeriders and ski tourers, fantastic deep-snow slopes and attractive summit tours await you amidst the imposing mountain scenery of the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
