From the north, you can reach Spiez via the A6 motorway from Bern. Here the cantonal road branches off towards Kandersteg to the car transport. With the easy and speedy loading of your car onto the railway, you can cross the Lötschberg in just 15 minutes and arrive comfortably at Goppenstein, the southern station of the Lötschberg tunnel.

Coming from the south, take the Rhone Valley motorway from Lausanne or the cantonal road from Brig to Gampel/Steg. From Steg and Goppenstein the well-maintained road leads directly into the Lötschental. The road is also easy to drive on in winter - winter equipment is required for the months November to April.

The Bern-Lötschberg-Simplon north-south axis brings you in the "Lötschberger" every hour from Bern or Brig safely, comfortably and with great views to Goppenstein station. The Lötschental can be reached by post bus from Goppenstein station in just 15-25 minutes.
